Man Wanted For Trespassing At Long Island Homes, Wiping Shoes On Couch Cushions

Police are searching for a man who was caught trespassing on several Long Island properties on surveillance footage.

The unidentified man trespassed at homes in Cold Spring Harbor while wearing all-black clothing on Oct. 18, Suffolk County Police said.

In a video captured of the suspect, which takes place around 1:45 a.m., he can be seen ambling outside and around a property, shining a flashlight into windows and at one point wiping the bottoms of his sneakers on a couch cushion.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for anyone with information leading to the suspect's arrest. The group can be contacted online, via the P3Tips mobile app or by calling 800-220-TIPS.
